1. Default branches

The branches protected by default are:

• master - Production, all users.
• staging - Pre-production testing, only access to the development team.

2. Create a merge request

1. Search and find the issue in which you are going to work.
2. View incident details.
3. Display the submenu button "Create merge request".
4. Select "Create merge request and branch".
5. Change "origin" (branch) to "staging".
6. Click "Create merge request".
7. You can view the detail of the pull request and branch.
8. Go to the terminal and pull changes.
9. Checkout to the new issue branch.
